Review: Love Story 2050

The first look, dance numbers and presentation of the film “Love Story 2050” is similar to Hrithik’s “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” and viewers are getting attracted to the movie promotionals .The music of the film “Love Story 2050” has been composed by Anu Malik and Anu seems to have worked hard for the music of the film which makes the album better than his last few albums. The lyrics of the songs are of Javed Akhtar.

‘Aa Gaya Hun Mein’ –
The song is to introduce Harman in a powerful way but the music lacks energy to make the impression strong. The song has been sung by Kay Kay and dance steps in the song need to be attractive to make it look expressive introductory song.

‘Hey You Lover Boy’-This one brings in the complete team of the Indian Idol judges with Alisha joining Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik for the song and the 80’s disco beats are prominent in the song. Even in 80’s the discos were not all praised and re-trying the same is unwise.

‘Mausam Achanak Ye Badala Kyu’-The romantic song by Shaan and Alka Yagnik is impressive with the western beats.

‘Milo Na Milo’ –The promotional of the film is shown on small screen through the song ‘Milo Na Milo’ which is the best song of the album and the song has also been danced well by the debuting actor Harman. Kay Kay voices the song and electronic music is impressive.

‘Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla’ - Kay Kay sings the happy and sad version of the song and the happy version is with Alka Yagnik. The happy version of the song ‘Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla’ is better than the sad version of the song.

‘Sach Kehna Sach Kehna’- Kunal Ganjawala’s solo ‘Sach Kehna Sach Kehna’ is a youthful lovely song composed well by Anu. The lyrics by Javed Akhtar are also effective.

The album has a few songs that can reach charts and music in one or two songs has the “already heard somewhere” effect. The music is just not all fresh but some attraction is still there in the album.

Rating: 6/10
